New Year, new hours! That’s a saying, right?😆 Anyhoo . . . We’re now open starting at 8:30 rather than 8. This way we’ll have time to devote to clinic cat cuddles (and probably cleaning up the messes they made trying to get into the treats that are kept under 🔐) before we try to start answering phones and whatnot. So if you can’t reach us right at 8, worry not! We’ll be ready for you at 8:30 sharp!🕣🫡

Our partnership with rescues is a huge part of what makes our job so meaningful. We are thrilled to be able to start 2024 by helping Love Your Feral Felines with this special girl! ❤️🖤❤️🖤

Our sweet girl Percy visited the vet today for x-rays and a full treatment plan. X-rays showed some bone involvement and a few other complications that led to the vet's recommendation for amputation of her affected limb. The outcome isn’t quite what we expected but she’s in the best hands and this will allow her the quickest and safest path to a full recovery. 🙏 We are so glad to have been able to step in at the right time to give her the best chance for a happy and fulfilling life. 🐾

Thank you to Temple Heights Animal Hospital for giving her the best care and thank you to all Percy’s supporters for helping us give her this chance. 🏥 We’ll keep you all updated on her recovery. 📈

We are finding out more and more about this emerging canine respiratory disease every day. It’s not time to panic yet, but it’s a good idea to take reasonable precautions. For now, here are my takeaways:
1. Make sure your dog’s vaccines are up to date
2. Limit exposure to other dogs when possible
3. See your vet immediately if your dog has any respiratory symptoms
