🎉 Healthy New Year’s Resolutions for Children & Teens 🎉
From all of us at Lake Country Pediatrics, we’re encouraging families to start the year with healthy, age-appropriate goals that grow with your child!
👶 Preschoolers:
Focus on self-care, hygiene, safety, manners, helping at home, kindness to others and animals, and talking with trusted adults when they need help.
🧒 Kids (5–12):
Build healthy routines like drinking water, staying active, wearing safety gear, protecting skin, practicing kindness, handling bullying, staying safe online, following screen-time rules, and reading for fun.
🧑🎓 Teens (13+):
Work toward balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, good sleep, responsible media use, stress management, community involvement, safe decision-making, respectful relationships, avoiding risky behaviors, and safe driving habits.
✨ These resolutions help build lifelong habits that support physical health, emotional well-being, safety, and positive relationships at every stage of growth.
