Our 2026 Odessa/Midland Home Hospice Butterfly Release was a truly beautiful and heartfelt day at the UTPB CEED Building. 🦋

We were honored to see such a meaningful turnout as our community gathered to celebrate and remember loved ones. The memorial services led by Pastor Ben Chavez and Chaplain Patrick McCurdy brought comfort and reflection to all in attendance.

Special thanks to our talented performers—Luke Paradeux, Rylan Sanchez Romero, and Luis Carbajal—whose music added so much emotion and grace to the day. 🎶

Stellar Marquees created a stunning tribute display, perfectly capturing the spirit of remembrance with their beautiful butterfly touches. Fortified Health Security and their incredible team—Snuggles, Strings and Security—went above and beyond, with Jake the violinist providing moving music throughout the event. Ranger, our friendly fur companion, brought warmth and comfort to so many guests.

A heartfelt thank you to Kristi and the UTPB team for their support behind the scenes, ensuring everything ran smoothly—from setup to sound.

We’re also so grateful for our amazing community partners who provided refreshments and support:
UTPB, Trinity PAS, West Texas Oncology, Beehive Home Care, West Texas Gifts of Hope, Stellar Marquees, Fortified Health Security, Encompass Health and Rehabilitation, Medical Center Hospital—and all of our wonderful volunteers.

This day would not have been possible without each and every one of you. 💙

Please tag Home Hospice WTX when sharing your photos—we would love to see and remember these special moments together.

Nick, our Community Educator for Home Hospice, was a busy bee this weekend 🐝! From setting up a yogurt bar at the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce health fair, where we were proud booth sponsors, and also participated in the Fill the Boot fundraiser later that afternoon.

We’re committed to supporting the health education and well-being of the communities we serve! Congratulations to our door prize winners who stopped by our booth—we loved connecting with each of you!

Today in Andrews was truly special. 🦋

We gathered for a beautiful butterfly release to honor and remember our loved ones. The event was filled with warmth, reflection, and community. Guests enjoyed food and refreshments while sharing memories and support with one another.

A heartfelt memorial service was led by Dr. Donnie Rollie, bringing comfort and meaning to the day. We were also blessed by a touching musical performance from our community partner, Latina and her daughter from Beehive Homes in Andrews—their songs made the moment even more memorable.

As the butterflies took flight, they carried with them our love, our memories, and the enduring spirit of those we hold dear.

Thank you to everyone who came out to be part of such a meaningful day.
