Need a little energy? Me too on a daily! 🙃

Stay on track with health goals and a boost of energy with this simple 15 minute, no bake recipe snack. This is my protein bar snack swap without the added sugar and without inflammatory oils. Get the kids involved and pack in their lunch, send with hubby and reserve a few for yourself!

ENERGIZING MATCHA BALLS RECIPE🌱

PREP TIME: 5 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 15 minutes
SERVINGS: 1-2

INGREDIENTS:
▫️1 cup cashews (or seeds*)
▫️1-2 tablespoons honey (or less*)
▫️1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
▫️1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (cloves*)
1-1 ½ teaspoons matcha powder(pique)

MODIFICATIONS:
*43 pumpkin seeds + ⅛ tsp sunflower seeds (nut free option or those with food sensitivities)
*1 tsp max for those on low fod map (SIBO)
* 1/2 tsp ground cloves or cinnamon (food sensitivities; omit cinnamon if avoiding high histamine foods).

INSTRUCTIONS:
Add cashews (or seeds) to a food processor and pulse until finely ground,
not powdery. Add honey, vanilla, ginger (clove or cinnamon) and matcha powder.
Blend until sticky & combined. Scoop mixture and roll into 1-inch balls. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve & Enjoy! ☺️

*Double, triple or quadruple as needed!

We all deserve a break! My favorite way to reset and pause hard work is to get away.

My favorite getaway is on the beach where
I can connect with nature. It’s important to honor rest and relaxation in order to reduce high cortisol, balance the autonomic nervous system and dedicate time to gratitude. 🫶🏼

When we allow focused time for rest and gratitude, our parasympathetic nervous system is activated and our bodies can heal.

High performing women have a ton of responsibilities and deserve time off whether it’s a getaway or structured staycation away from work tasks and restricted protocols.

WATERMELON BASIL MOCKTAIL🍉

INGREDIENTS:
1 c Diced Watermelon
5-6 Mint Leaves (cut)🌱
Zest of 1 Lime
Juice of 1 Lime
1/2 c - 1c Water
1 T. Manuka Honey
1 large Ice Cube
Cucumber Slices (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
▫️Muddle watermelon + mint
▫️Add remaining ingredients
▫️Strain & pour into glass over ice

When I am faced with trials, I do my best to keep a proper perspective. This TOO shall pass and there are people who have it worse.

The SIMPLE way to make CREAMY hummus. Can you point out the secret ingredient? 🤩

BEST CREAMY VEGAN HUMMUS🌱
Vegan | GF | DF | Plant-Based

This homemade, nutrient-dense hummus comes together in just 10 minutes- creamy, delicious and far healthier (and tastier!) than anything store bought.

Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 6

Equipment:
1 food processor
1 spatula
1 strainer

Ingredients:
1- 15 oz can Chickpeas
⅓ cup Tahini
Juice of ½ of Lemon
1 ½ teaspoon Garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon Sea Salt (Redmond or Baja)
5 Ice Cubes
OrganicTurmeric (garnish)
Organic Cayenne (garnish)
Drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Chickpeas (garnish)

**SECRET INGREDIENT**
🧊ICE CUBES🧊

Instructions:
Blend all ingredients together (except ice cubes) in a food processor until smooth. Scrape down the sides and add the ice cubes. Blend for 1- more minutes until totally smooth.Top with any toppings you like! Serve and enjoy!

Notes:
Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Make a double batch to have plenty for the week for snacks, lunches, and to serve along with dinner. Drain and rinse your chickpeas before using to help prevent gas or bloating. Once finished, drizzle hummus with cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle turmeric and cayenne overtop for garnish. Dip with fresh raw veggies such as carrots, celery and organic mini peppers.
