This story makes me sick! With that being said, there are things we can learn from this, so this doesn’t happen under our noses. Some things to take note of:
1. Other adults previously witnessed the abuse and did NOTHING
2. This sounds like a class for students with disabilities, and if not, then we know that the abused child certainly is disabled. Disabled children are extremely vulnerable.
3. Parents- most likely the children in this class were already showing signs or likely making statements about this happening. We need to be more aware of our child’s cues and believe them when they are scared to back to a place to go a person.

I hope and pray everyone involved is punished. I hope adults stop turning their heads when they see abuse occurring.

Your child can hear you even when he or she can’t speak well.

We listen, we feel, we think and we understand even though we may not be able to verbally express what's going on in our mind. Please don't underestimate us.
