In this role, you will be an essential part of our healthcare team, working alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical terminology, be familiar with electronic medical records systems, and have experience working in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direction of our providers
• Initiate in-take duties as patients arrive such as gathering vital signs, discussing symptoms, and documenting medical records accurately
• Assist in the transport of patients from various locations include waiting room, in-take room, and patient rooms
• Perform functions such as lab draws, swabs, etc.
• Administer prescribed medications to patients including immunizations (both adults and children)
• Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment for providers
• Provide companionship and basic care to patients

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in nursing, patient care, or similar roles (certification preferred)
• Easily build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to work well in teams with a positive attitude – a team player is a must!
