We recently completed our annual state survey, and I am proud to share that the results reflect the strong care, dedication, and commitment demonstrated every day by our team.
The survey identified no immediate jeopardy, no findings of actual harm, and no substandard quality of care. In today’s long-term care environment, that outcome speaks volumes. It places our organization in a very strong position compared to both state and national survey trends and reinforces what we already know—our residents are cared for in a safe, respectful, and well-managed environment.
Surveys are designed to be thorough and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and we welcome that process. The few items identified were limited in scope, primarily systems-based, and fully correctable. Most importantly, resident safety and quality of care were never compromised.
I want to specifically recognize our department heads and managers for a job well done. Over the past several years, this team set clear goals for improvement, accountability, and excellence, and this survey reflects the progress they have worked so hard to achieve. I am proud of their leadership and the standards they continue to uphold.
At the same time, this level of success is only possible because of every single employee in every department. Nursing, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, administration, activities, and therapy teams all play a vital role in keeping our residents safe and well cared for. Each job, each shift, and each person matters. Seeing that shared commitment across our entire Ketcham team is incredibly meaningful to me and is something I take great pride in.
Thank you to all of our employees for the work you do every day. Together, we will continue striving to improve, strengthen our systems, and remain fully compliant with state and federal regulations as we serve our residents and community.
