We recently completed our annual state survey, and I am proud to share that the results reflect the strong care, dedication, and commitment demonstrated every day by our team.

The survey identified no immediate jeopardy, no findings of actual harm, and no substandard quality of care. In today’s long-term care environment, that outcome speaks volumes. It places our organization in a very strong position compared to both state and national survey trends and reinforces what we already know—our residents are cared for in a safe, respectful, and well-managed environment.

Surveys are designed to be thorough and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and we welcome that process. The few items identified were limited in scope, primarily systems-based, and fully correctable. Most importantly, resident safety and quality of care were never compromised.

I want to specifically recognize our department heads and managers for a job well done. Over the past several years, this team set clear goals for improvement, accountability, and excellence, and this survey reflects the progress they have worked so hard to achieve. I am proud of their leadership and the standards they continue to uphold.

At the same time, this level of success is only possible because of every single employee in every department. Nursing, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, administration, activities, and therapy teams all play a vital role in keeping our residents safe and well cared for. Each job, each shift, and each person matters. Seeing that shared commitment across our entire Ketcham team is incredibly meaningful to me and is something I take great pride in.

Thank you to all of our employees for the work you do every day. Together, we will continue striving to improve, strengthen our systems, and remain fully compliant with state and federal regulations as we serve our residents and community.

Congratulations to our very own Ava Graber, CNA, on being crowned Homecoming Queen last night! Pictured alongside two fellow Ketcham team members, Riley Stoll, CNA, and Kelsye Riggins, CNA.
We’re proud to share that both ND Fall and Winter Homecoming Queens are KMC employees as Alivia Dhahir was crowned Fall Homecoming Queen, what an amazing way to represent the KMC family!

🚨 Health Update for Families & Visitors 🚨
We want to inform our families and visitors that we currently have a few confirmed cases of the flu in our building. Please know that our team is actively taking all necessary precautions to prevent further spread and to keep our residents and staff safe.
To help us protect everyone:
• If you are feeling sick or have flu-like symptoms, please postpone your visit
• Masks will be available at the entrance (mask use is encouraged but not required)
• Please limit visits to one resident only, rather than visiting throughout the building
• Perform proper hand hygiene upon entry and throughout your visit
We appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and continued support as we work together to keep our community healthy. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Macy Wilson, LPN – Infection Preventionist.

We are pleased to announce that Macy Wilson, LPN has stepped into the role of Admissions Coordinator at Ketcham Memorial Center, taking over for Anna Ragens as Anna continues to pursue her Registered Nurse (RN) degree. We are grateful for Anna’s dedication in this role and fully support her continued growth in nursing. Anna will continue to be a valued member of the Ketcham team and will remain responsible for our wound and restorative program while she advances her education.

Macy has been a valued member of the KMC team since 2017 and is deeply connected to our community. She has a passion for caring for the people who live here and genuinely wants to serve and support her neighbors when they need us most. That commitment, combined with her clinical background and strong wound-care knowledge, makes her a tremendous asset in the admissions process, allowing for more effective identification of wounds and appropriate treatments at the time of admission.

As part of our management team, Macy is committed to ensuring a smooth and supportive admissions experience for residents and their loved ones.

Macy can be contacted for tours or with any questions related to a stay at KMC:
