We were so grateful to support Catholic Community Services in their “Bridging the Gap” program. This incredible initiative brings weekend food bags directly to local elementary schools to help ensure students have what they need when school meals aren’t available.

The program’s mobile pantry visits schools in Weber and Ogden Districts, providing nutritious groceries for children who may face food insecurity at home. It’s a simple act that makes a huge difference! Filling the “gap” between Friday lunch and Monday breakfast.

We were honored to help our wonderful neighbors at Lincoln Elementary School and to play a small part in strengthening our community. 💙📚🤝

Eliza is one of our newest CNAs to our community. In the short time she has been here she has already left a big mark, in the most positive way.

Eliza is always attentive, kind, reliable, and vibrant. She goes above and beyond for our residents. Eliza is always a team player and looks out for other staff members as well. We are so thankful that she is a part of our team!!

🌺 Resident Spotlight: Mona 🌺

Meet Mona. A woman whose life has been full of love, laughter, and adventure! 💛

Married at just 17, Mona welcomed her baby boy a year later, who she says is “the light of her life”. Followed by three daughters who, as she says, “brought me sunshine.” ☀️ She devoted her life to caring for her children, serving as a room mother at three different schools, leading a Girl Scout troop of 25, and proudly calling herself a “professional volunteer.” 💐

Mona’s had quite the variety of careers too, from working at a cannery and waitressing, to auditing for an auto parts company, and spending 26 dedicated years with the IRS. 💼 She’s a proud grandma to 14 grandbabies and has lived in Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana before making her home here in Utah.

She loves nature, going for hikes and scenic rides (but she’ll tell you she’s not a water person! 😄). Mona says she loves everything about The Auberge, the people, the activities, and of course our amazing staff and housekeepers who brighten her days.

Her words of wisdom?
🩵 “Try to keep my mouth shut.”
