Our code of ethics is there for a reason. We are not Dr’s and cannot diagnose clients. They come to us with trust in our education and ability. We have to respect those boundaries. We can guide and refer, but not tell someone they have a pathology😵‍💫

✅ Where did you receive your lymphatic training? How many hours? Did you learn online or in person?
✅ How often do you recertify? …or take continuing MLD education.
✅ Does your MLD cause pain?
✅ How many clients do you see for MLD?
✅ How often do you personally receive MLD.

YES YES YES…it’s true….water aerobics is a thing!!!! So thankful Summer has returned and the pool is open.

Movement in water is one of the best things we can do in support of our lymphatic systems and over-all circulation.

Any kind of physical movement has a positive effect on our lymphatic systems, but if we can get a little support from the water and a little support from our friends at the same time, I’ll take it.

Term of the day —

**HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE**
The pressure exerted by a fluid at equilibrium at any point of time due to the force of gravity”.

Hydrostatic pressure is proportional to the depth measured from the surface as the weight of the fluid increases when a downward force is applied.

****In relatable lymphatic speak, it refers to the pressure of the water pushing against your tissue as you are in the water. This pressure along with buoyancy while moving, help to push fluid up towards main lymph drainage areas 🤓🙌💧

Spring Update

Spring is approaching and I couldn't be happier. This season marks a time of new growth and change.

Spring will also bring a bit of change to Elemental Mind Body.
Starting April 1st, prices for all services will increase $15-$25 depending on treatment duration.
*Increase excludes appointments already scheduled.

Hours of Operation will also change at Elemental Mind Body beginning
April 1st and will continue throughout the Summer.

I will be accepting appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, between the hours of 10am-5pm. If you already have an appointment scheduled for a Friday, you might hear from me requesting to move your appointment to a different day.
