At the White Earth Service Unit, the addition of our Care Closet is a place of comfort, dignity, and support for those in need. The Care Closet include gently use or new coats, clothing, and shoes, and new personal hygiene items such as body wash, shampoo, nail clippers, brushes, etc. Any staff member or patient can donate items to the Care Closet. Through Bami-iwen—there is support—we are honored to help our relatives stay warm, safe, and supported during challenging times.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Damien Society of Detroit Lakes for their generous donation of warm hats, mittens, and blankets. These items are more than just winter essentials—they are acts of compassion that bring warmth to both body and spirit.

Thank you for standing with our community and helping us take care of one another. Together, we make a difference. 🤍

At White Earth Service Unit, keeping our patients safe is one of our biggest goals. That’s why we use high-quality machines that clean and sterilize medical tools. These machines make sure every tool is safe to use for each patient. Sterilization helps stop germs from spreading. When medical tools are cleaned the right way, it protects you, your family, and our whole community. Our partners, Health and Healthea, recently showed how strong our disinfection machine is by using it for a car wash demonstration! Even though it was just for fun, it proves how powerful and effective the equipment is.

Health and Healthea may have accidentally taken a tumble off the sleigh… but thanks to Linda Lohnes from Orthopedics, they were quickly back on their feet and ready to spread holiday cheer again!
