This time of year we tend to consume around 3-6 thousand calories per meal. So to help minimizing ones self from having a heart attack, please remember not to take a nap after the big meal. Force yourself through the turkey slumber, and take a walk. Your blood is naturally thicker this time of year, and the excess fat in the blood makes it harder on the vessels and the heart. Also, people who have high blood pressure should never leave the house in the cold weather without wearing a hat and scarf. When the head and neck are exposed, the body shivers to create heat, this in turn causes your blood pressure to go even higher. Happy holidays to you and yours. And may you be blessed from the tops of your heads to the soles of your feet and in each way you shall travel this holiday season. May your business and families be blessed, and your health renewed.
