Our Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Faith Polkey, Chief Operations Officer Natassia Allen, and Chief of Pharmacy Courtney Kaye are in Washington, DC for the NACHC 2026 Policy and Issues Forum, ensuring the voice of community health centers is heard at the national level.

They are meeting directly with federal leaders and their teams to advocate for the patients and communities we serve every day. Meetings included Senator Tim Scott’s office with legislative assistant Meghan McCully, Nancy Mace’s legislative assistant Jon Maslyn, and Senator Graham’s legislative assistant.

These conversations help shape policies that protect and strengthen access to affordable, quality care across our region, and we are proud to have strong leadership representing our mission on Capitol Hill.

In collaboration with Lowcountry Food Bank, this market provides fresh food and essential items to support the health and wellbeing of our community.

The food market is located at 719 Okatie HWY, Okatie, SC 29909, and is available exclusively to BJHCHS, Inc. patients and staff.

We encourage patients and staff to take advantage of this resource as part of our ongoing efforts to support access to community resources.
