Hi listen for the inside answers
My Mom spent the last year of her life fighting ALS with a trach and on a ventilator. Before the operation the doctors told us she wouldn’t be the same after the surgery. They said she wouldn’t be able to talk or eat and she would be highly depressed. I remember while the doctors talked she looked at my sister and I and shook her head to say “Don’t listen to them yall, I will be fine”. She then winked her eye at us. After the surgery I remember the doctor walking into the waiting room scratching his head and saying “I’m not sure, what to tell you but you guys can go in to see her”. As soon as we walked in she said “Hey Tabitha” just as clear and perfect! With a huge smile she said “ I told y’all don’t listen to them doctors, God told me different🙌🏿 and Im hungry, bring me some potatoes and gravy”😂 This picture was a few weeks later at the rehab center! Look closely, we all had been crying and emotional but not Moma, she wasn’t depressed, never cried or lost that smile! She would just always say “It’s alright baby, God has trusted me with this journey” ❤️. Mom taught me so much about life in her last year of life. We must remember that just because someone says something about your life, doesn’t make it so! God has the final say🙌🏿. Thank you Moma🙏🏾❤️ Y’all be encouraged today!! Love you all!!
