The mission of the Iowa Nurses Association promotes professional nursing by providing a unified voice for nursing in Iowa and advocating the health and well-being of all people. Together, we promote the growth of the profession, guide nursing practice, and monitor current issues in nursing. Our strength is to stay engaged, by advocating for and connecting with Iowa nurses in the divers, dynamic health care environment.

Remembering 9/11

Today, we honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and pay tribute to the incredible courage of the first responders, health care professionals, and everyday citizens who stepped forward in the face of tragedy.

For nurses, 9/11 is a reminder of the strength and compassion of our profession — caring for others in moments of unimaginable pain and uncertainty. We carry forward that legacy of resilience, service, and healing here in Iowa and across the nation.
