Some fun action shots from the Liberation Jiu-Jitsu Summit at !

I had been wanting to get back into pressure-testing my martial arts skills, and between the Denver tournament last weekend and this, it feels like I dove head-first into the deep end, but it feels good! I can say for 100% certain that my tai chi practice has enhanced my overall fighting ability. I move in a way that’s much more connected and integrated and it’s helped both my stand-up and even my ground grappling! Looking forward to finding new opportunities to test myself in the near future!

There were many great internal martial artists on display at today, but WOW what a treat it was to watch ply her craft. She’s on another level and rightfully won the grand championship in the Internal category. If you’re in the Boston area, you would be lucky to have such a teacher!
