Wonderfully Made Therapy Pediatric Occupational Therapy: Home-Based / Community-Based / Clinic-Based / Wellness / Teletherapy / Consult

Wonderfully Made Therapy offers pediatric Occupational Therapy in home-based and community-based services as well as teletherapy. We provide evaluations, skilled therapeutic services, or consultation services.

Wonderfully Made therapists tailor each session to meet individuals' needs at their current level of development, providing skilled services to address fine motor, visual skills, feeding, activities of daily living, social, behavior, play, balance, coordination, sensory, retained primitive reflexes, and developmental motor skills.

We’re so excited to introduce Lydia and Sydney here at Wonderfully Made Therapy! Both these women are passionate about individualized, holistic care and helping kids reach their goals! We’re grateful to have them on our team. 💚

⭐️Lydia Joseph, OTR/L - Lydia started in August! She provides OT services at two school sites and a daycare.

⭐️Sydney Schmedt, OTR/L - Sydney started shadowing our team at the end of November and will start seeing clients in January.

Happy World Occupational Therapy Day! 💚

At Wonderfully Made Therapy, we believe every child is created for a purpose and made in the image of God. We help equip children and families to thrive in their everyday environments. Through play, neuro developmental stimulation, connection, compassion, and a holistic approach, we help children build the skills they need to thrive in their daily life skills!

⭐️Short History of Occupational Therapy:

Occupational Therapy (OT) began in the early 1900s, during a time when doctors and reformers noticed that meaningful activity could help people heal, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.

During World War I, OTs helped injured soldiers regain independence through purposeful activities.

In 1917, the National Society for the Promotion of Occupational Therapy was founded in the U.S. — now known as the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Since then, OT has grown into a holistic profession that helps people of all ages live life to the fullest — supporting everything from daily living skills and mental health to sensory processing and rehabilitation.

Thankful WMT gets to provide Occupational Therapy Services in our clinc, local schools and homes in Oklahoma.

We’ve been implementing Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) more into our sessions at our clinic! Our team members have been trained to properly use these therapy tools.

Potential Benefits:
❤️Increased Cellular Energy - Increased ATP production
❤️Reduced Inflammation – Helps calm swelling, and chronic inflammatory conditions
❤️Increased Blood Flow – Enhances blood flow and oxygen delivery to tissues
