I’m excited to share that I’ve completed my second year of training in Intersubjective Self Psychology (ISP) through the TRISP Foundations Program — their Advanced Program. This intensive training has been incredibly enriching and has deepened my work as a psychotherapist.

To complete the advanced portion, I was required to write and present a paper, and I chose to focus on religious trauma — a topic that continues to feel both personally meaningful and clinically important.

I’m so grateful for the experience and for all the thoughtful individuals who made this training so impactful! ❤️

I started seeing patients during my internship in 2015, and today marks six years in private practice. I am deeply grateful to all the amazing humans who have allowed me to hold space for them. ❤️

I had the honor of spending time with Dr. Nancy McWilliams and Dr. Michael Garrett this weekend before attending their lecture. It was truly a privilege to connect with these two experts, as well as the other dedicated volunteers from the nonprofit who helped coordinate the training! ❤️

Hello, I am Charlie and I am a therapy dog in training! 🐾 I am excited that I got to come hang out today at my Mom’s office while she worked on paperwork. I still have some more training and classes to complete, but I hope that in a few months that I can help people while they process their feelings!
