A long overdue recognition.
This honors the fallen, supports their families, and affirms what firefighters have always known. Duty related cancer is a line of duty sacrifice.

Our new office at CLEET is just about complete. We will now have a presence in both Oklahoma City and Ada.

By establishing an office at CLEET, we are able to reach future law enforcement professionals early and ensure they are equipped with the tools, education, and resources they need to succeed in this career. Law enforcement is one of the best jobs in the world, but it also comes with real psychological and physical demands.

This work will deliver challenges that cannot be ignored. That is why prevention matters. Investing in mental and physical wellness early is critical to long term health, performance, and longevity in this profession.

This is another step forward in supporting those who choose to serve.

Our very own peer team member, Vanessa Blain, from ABLE, helped lead this powerful event. It represents a joint effort between the ABLE Commission, the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office, partnering agencies, and community members—coming together to show a unified front against impaired driving.

The gifts placed under the tree each symbolize a life lost to an impaired driver. This year, that number is 146 lives in Oklahoma County alone, spanning 2020–2023—a sobering reminder of why this mission matters.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and supported this impactful event.
