Partnership is about promises made and promises kept.

For more than 25 years, Jenks Public Schools and Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy - Jenks have shared a remarkable collaboration—one that unites generations through learning, connection, and purpose. Together, we’ve built a pioneering intergenerational environment that has benefited students, residents, families, and the entire community.

This initiative began with a simple, visionary act: a leader looking across the street from a long-term care center, watching children play, and realizing that a shared space could bring joy to both generations. That spark led to classrooms within Grace itself, creating daily opportunities for residents and young learners to grow and engage side by side.

Programs like this endure because of shared vision, commitment, and leadership—and they inspire us to expand similar opportunities across Oklahoma.

Thank you, Jenks Public Schools, for being a steadfast partner in building a dynamic, award-winning, and time-tested model that shows what’s possible when communities come together.

Promise kept.

Teddy Roosevelt once remarked, “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena” as a reminder that one must speak to be heard, stand to be counted and step forward to lead.

We congratulate all who have stood for AHCA and earned the privilege to serve. While this year’s campaign for the board fell short, our commitment endures. We will continue to speak, engage and represent the interests of our residents, families, employees, partners and providers.

You are our mission — and it remains our privilege to serve you, from the bedside to the arena.

We’re excited to share that Bridges Health President & CEO Brett Coble is officially a candidate for the Regional Multifacility Representative seat on the AHCA Board of Governors.

True to the adage that a voice is only powerful when it’s heard, Brett has long been a passionate advocate for long-term care—working closely with our state association and both state and federal legislators to advance initiatives that enhance the lives of our most vulnerable seniors.

Recently, Brett sat down with Steve Buck, President & CEO of Care Providers Oklahoma, for a wide-ranging conversation about his legacy of service, the inspiration behind his passion, and the power of collaboration among leaders to create meaningful change.

AHCA delegates from all 50 states will cast their ballots on October 22 at the annual AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo.

Good luck, Brett! Your leadership continues to open doors for seniors in Oklahoma and beyond.

At The Springs Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Muskogee, nearly 40 pre-K students share their school days with residents—learning side by side and forming bonds that nurture empathy, joy, and understanding.

Intergenerational learning transforms lives and reminds us that learning, laughter, and love have no age limit. As Bridges Health President & CEO Brett Coble recently shared, “We’d like to see many of the communities we serve offer these programs, recognizing how they enhance quality of life for residents, students, and the community at large.”

When generations come together, communities grow stronger.💙

October is Employee Ownership Month, and at Bridges Health and our managed communities, employees aren’t just team members — they’re owners in the making, with most already sharing in that ownership.

Every act of care, every extra effort, and every proactive step is fueled by people who have a real stake in our mission.

Today on HR Professional Day, we’re especially grateful for our incredible HR/Payroll Specialists! 💙

They play a vital role in strengthening our culture of care, building trust and connection across teams, enhancing engagement, and living out ownership by guiding tough conversations and helping drive better decisions.

Yesterday we hosted them at the home office for our own HR Appreciation Day—a blend of education, timely updates, meaningful conversation, and celebration. Their work lifts all of us higher, every single day.

Take a moment to say thank you!

We’re honored to have been featured in TulsaPeople Magazine and are excited to share the story with you.

Since 1999, Jenks Public Schools’ West Elementary has partnered with Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy - Jenks to create Oklahoma’s first early childhood intergenerational program.

Pre-K and kindergarten students, the littles, learn side by side with senior residents, the grands. They share stories, crafts, reading, exercise, and plenty of high fives. This daily connection is more than heartwarming, it’s transformative.

Children grow in empathy, communication, and academics, while seniors experience joy, purpose, and community. It’s a school experience unlike any other, with impacts felt across generations.

At Bridges Health, we celebrate programs like this that bring people together and strengthen the bonds that keep communities thriving.
