We’re proud to share this exciting pilot program with AltaPointe Health! Through this initiative, individuals who frequently contact emergency services will receive iPads configured exclusively to connect with AltaPointe Health clinicians or peer specialists through secure, real-time video sessions. The program aims to divert nonemergency behavioral health calls away from traditional 911 response, helping conserve public safety resources while ensuring compassionate care for individuals in crisis.
MyCare was recognized in SAMHSA’s 2025 Behavioral Health Crisis System Toolkit for its role in enabling remote access to mental health professionals through iPads in patrol cars across the state of Oklahoma. We hope to duplicate those efforts in Alabama, providing safe and affordable behavioral health resources to all.
