We’re excited to add a Part Time Resident Advisor to our Women’s Firstep team!

If you’re passionate about supporting women in their recovery journey and love being a steady, encouraging presence, this could be the perfect fit. Women’s Firstep is a long term residential work recovery program where women rebuild stability, confidence, and community. Our Resident Advisors help make that possible.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong communication and a calm, supportive attitude
• Recovery experience or familiarity with similar programs is a plus
• Flexible availability, with most needs in the evenings and on weekends

If you believe in second chances and want to make a real difference, we’d love for you to apply.

Our door decorating contest was a blast and Women’s Firstep came out on top! Along with gift cards and a pizza lunch, they got to choose someone to take a pie to the face… and they picked our awesome Men’s Firstep Assistant Director, Nicolas Byers.

He was such a great sport and even managed to pie a few others back. It was hilarious and such a good reminder of how lucky we are to have a team that works hard, loves big, and still knows how to have fun together.

Congrats to Women’s Firstep and shoutout to Nicolas for the laughs! 🎉🥧💙

💧Why “One Drop. One Life. Endless Impact.”💧
This year, our team kept coming back to water. We felt like we had been in a drought — searching for renewal, hope, and the joy of new beginnings. Water spoke to us because it carries life. One drop creates ripples. One seed planted grows roots and spreads.

Recovery is the same. When one person begins their journey, it ripples into jobs, families, and stronger communities across Oklahoma. It doesn’t stop at the individual — it multiplies.

That’s why our theme is about rain, ripples, and renewal. We want Beans & Cornbread to feel like hope is raining down, planting seeds of recovery in every person who walks through our doors.
