Good Shepherd Clinic
Good Shepherd provides consistent, quality medical and dental services for the vulnerable members of our community. All of our services are free to low income, uninsured residents of Oklahoma County. The need is great. Oklahoma is ranked number 2 in the nation for the most uninsured people. 1 in 2 Oklahomans has no dental insurance. We provide care by hiring a very small staff and recruiting local medical, dental, and pharmacy professionals. In 2017, 567 volunteers provided 110,567 hours of work. This allowed us to serve 2200 patients. A large number of our volunteers are students, working with their professors to receive clinical education in a compassionate care setting. We receive no federal, state, or insurance reimbursement. We are supported by donations from organizations and individuals.
