Don't forget to wash your hands! 🧼

The CDC says... "Washing your hands is easy, and it’s one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs. Clean hands can help stop germs from spreading from one person to another and in our communities—including your home, workplace, schools, and childcare facilities.

Follow these five steps every time.
1. Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
2. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
3. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.
4. Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
5. Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them."

Lola is one of our dedicated Medical Assistants at our Yukon Clinic.

Lola was born and raised right here in Oklahoma City!

She originally planned to go to college for sports and even considered a career in dentistry before realizing her true passion was nursing.

She joined Immediate Care to gain hands-on experience and quickly confirmed that this is exactly what she wants to do. Lola plans to graduate from OCCC with her associate and earn her RN, and then transfer to OU to complete her bachelor’s degree.

Outside of work, Lola enjoys going to the gym, cooking and baking, photography, and hanging out with her friends. She played basketball and ran track throughout high school and still brings that same energy and determination to everything she does.

If she could have lunch with anyone, it would be the GOAT—Michael Jordan. She’d love to talk and maybe score a free pair of shoes!

Lola says one of her favorite parts about working at Immediate Care is the amazing team she gets to work with every day. She loves helping patients, but especially enjoys being part of the tight-knit Yukon clinic crew.

Lola was nominated for her caring heart and dedication to others. Recently, she stepped up to help a patient who was feeling like they were going to pass out, showing the same calm compassion she brings to every situation.

We’re so thankful to have Lola on the ICO team—her kindness, energy, and positivity make our clinic an even better place!

Kiran is one of our dedicated Medical Assistants at our 240 Clinic.

Kiran was born and raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from the University of Oklahoma last May with a degree in Chemical Biosciences.

He’s currently in a gap year, preparing to apply to OU Medical School with hopes of pursuing a career in pediatrics, with a subspecialty in cardiology or oncology.

His interest in medicine started early—his dad is a doctor, and his sister recently became a pediatrician. Seeing the positive impact they had on their communities inspired him to follow in their footsteps.

Kiran joined Immediate Care to gain hands-on experience in the medical field, and his time here has only confirmed his calling to medicine.

Kiran’s favorite part about working at Immediate Care is the people. As a student, he especially appreciates how the providers take time to teach and invest in his learning.

If Kiran could have lunch with anyone, it would be Atul Gawande, a surgeon and author of Being Mortal. He admires how Gawande balances medicine and the arts—and hopes to bring that same balance into his own life.

Outside of work, Kiran enjoys cooking (especially grilling chicken skewers or steak), he loves reading, playing guitar, and listening to music. A fun fact about him: he’s recently gotten into film photography and is working on improving his skills behind the camera.

We’re so glad to have Kiran on the ICO team—his compassion, dedication, and positive attitude make him an incredible part of our clinic family!
