❄️💪 Frozen shoulder, or adhesive capsulitis, is a painful condition that limits shoulder movement. It’s most common in women aged 40–60 and can develop after shoulder injuries, surgery, prolonged immobilization, or certain health conditions like diabetes, thyroid disorders, Parkinson’s, and heart disease.
Symptoms include pain, stiffness, and difficulty moving your shoulder. Treatments include anti-inflammatory medications, steroid injections, and sometimes surgery to remove scar tissue and release tight ligaments. Physical therapy is important to regain strength and full motion.
