Cali is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in treating pelvic dysfunction. She graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor in Dance Studies before completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University. While finishing her graduate studies, she completed extra coursework and continuing education focusing on pelvic floor treatment and has continued this focus into her professional career.

Moving to Oklahoma in 2022, she has been treating a multitude of people for pelvic floor dysfunction in various settings and across the lifespan. She is the founder of Step into PT, LLC, a company focused on providing pelvic treatment in the way that fits your goals and schedule best, whether that be in office, in home, virtually, or in a group class setting. She is excited to offer her services as part of Thrive Mama Collective so that more Oklahoma City residents have access to high quality care. Dr. Cali loves working with individuals through the entire pregnancy and postpartum journey, as well as athletes and active adults of all genders seeking respectful treatment.

Join me in welcoming our newest collective member Kaila Nickel with .easy.mama 😍

Kaila is a Certified Gentle Sleep Coach and the founder of Rest Easy Mama. She works with
families to improve sleep through a truly gentle, responsive, and holistic approach.

A millennial mom of three little ones, she is no stranger to the depths of exhaustion that
parenthood can bring. She works with families from a place of deep understanding—drawing on extensive training in sleep science, attachment theory, and child development to offer families highly customized and proven strategies for improving sleep without ignoring their intuition. She is passionate about empowering families in their sleep choices and approaches this work without judgment, pressure, or expectations. Her goal is for every family she works with to feel supported, encouraged, and—by the end of our work together—well rested!

In addition to being a Certified Gentle Sleep Coach, Kaila is trained in Trust-Based Relational
Intervention (TBRI), an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children, including those who have experienced adversity, early harm, toxic stress, and/or trauma.

Further, she serves on the board of Postpartum Support International’s Oklahoma Chapter—an organization dedicated to promoting awareness, prevention, and treatment of perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD).

In her free time, Kaila loves reading, jamming to 90s music, and spending time with her husband and three young kids.
