Although everyone wasn’t able to attend, everyone will be receiving custom ordered jackets and beautiful jewelry for doing what they love!

On we want to recognize our owner, Virginia Harbour.

She doesn’t just operate a home health company. She believes she is walking in and serving her purpose from God.

She lives that everyday…even on the hard days. She does the right thing for the patient, not for her bottom line.

We are so grateful for her leadership and dedication to promoting rehabilitation services to improve the quality of life for the people of our communities.

Despite the ice yesterday, we were all able to gather together for a surprise 90th birthday celebration for one of our most precious Elite family members.

At 90 years young and still working part time, Jan Probst has seen just about everything in the medical field. The former OHCA nurse of the year is quoted as saying “I remember when the only antibiotics available were penicillin and streptomycin. It’s sure been a long haul.”

Jan is formerly from North Collins, NY. After graduating from nursing school at 19 she moved to Tulsa, OK in 1955 with her husband. The couple then moved with their only child to OKC in 1967 and she’s been here every since. She always done home health whether working just as needed or full time. She’s worked in almost every capacity in nursing from clinics, hospitals, director of nursing for facilities and even administration. She’s certainly a wealth of knowledge! We’re always learning something from her.

Jan has worked with Elite Home Care since it opened its doors in 2006. She reports she loves working at Elite “because of the personal attention and care that every employee gets. It’s truly a family.”

We are so grateful to celebrate her on this big day. Age is truly just a number ❤️

On this Thanksgiving, we are feeling extra thankful. ☺️

Thankful for another day to wake up and do what we love.

Thankful for the continued reminders of what a blessing this life is.

Thankful for all of our wonderful nurses, therapists and office staff that make caring for your loved ones possible.

Not only today, but every day is filled with so much to be thankful for.
