Congratulations to Darla Wilson, RN, BSN, MBA, Director - Critical Care Services! She is the recipient of the 2025 Excellence in Nursing Award for SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital.

The annual Excellence in Nursing Award is chosen by the medical staff and describes someone who provides quality patient care and lives out the hospital's Mission, Vision and Values. Nurses follow a code of ethics which requires them to promote health, to prevent illness, to restore health and to alleviate suffering. Inherent in nursing is respect for human rights, including cultural rights, the right to life and to choice, to dignity and to be treated with respect.

Congratulations to Dr. Gregory McKinnis, Intensivist, Critical Care Medicine/Pulmonary Disease! He was recently honored with the 2025 St. Luke Award by SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital.

The St. Luke Award, the Patron Saint of Physicians and Surgeons, is presented each year by the St. Anthony Hospital Administrative Council to the physician who most exemplifies the life of St. Luke.
