Frequently, the dogs and their volunteer handlers visit patients, families and staff to bring comfort, joy and a much-needed break from reality at our health ministry. In a spirited celebration of learning and community, the Oklahoma Regional Professional Nurse Practice Council teamed up with the Nurse Residency Specialists to host a Halloween-themed event for aspiring nurses. Twenty-eight future RNs joined the festivities, which provided a fun and supportive environment for nursing students preparing for their licensure exams while showcasing SSM Health’s ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of nurses.

Volunteers are commonly seen on nursing units, information desks, various departments and in our ER. This team always lifts up the spirits of others with smiles on their faces & a 'can-do' attitude. Thanks to the print shop for nominating the gift shop & volunteers.
