Two equally bad transmissions. Two totally different causes. After a lengthy cleaning process on the mud dauber we found rat chewed wires that were not shorted out yet. Easily repaired while the vehicle is apart. Imagine the hours of trouble shooting we'd have had to go through if we missed this problem and it came back in with some ridiculous new problem 3 months from now.

(Opinion) Buick is trying to be like Dodge and make a cool wagon. If it doesn't have a V8 then don't waste our time. There is no replacement for displacement. From the Monaco to the Magnum. Dodge makes the best wagons for the price as a tease with short production periods.

The rotary engine. With only a few moving parts, you have infinite RPM capacity. You can bolt them together for more power. If you ever owned an RX8 you'd know not to let them sit. Those bad boys will quit running and even though they have less parts, they cost twice as much to rebuild.

The car of the day was inspired by one of you. Leave a comment about a vehicle you would like showcased. The 1954 Pontiac Bonneville Special. On the same year there was three vehicles that could go into production. The Bonneville Special, the Oldsmobile F-88 and the Chevy Corvette. You can guess which one GM wanted to produce and which too went into obscurity. Two of the cars were made and were to be crushed as do all things not appreciated in their time. One sold at Barrett-Jackson for $3,000,000 and the other sits in a Colorado Auto Museum.

CLONE SPOTTING: The internet is a great place to show off your knowledge of anything. Especially with Google at your fingertips. Having " the know" in real life will get your foot in more doors. In 1962 the Chevy Cheetah was designed to compete with Carroll Shelby's Cobra. The car had one unique quality of gullwing doors mounted to the roll cage. So spotting this fake was easy.
