An Oklahoma native, Dr. Shadfar began his academic journey at Oklahoma City University, graduating summa cm laude with a double major in chemistry and biochemistry. He continued his medical training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Following medical school, Dr. Shadfar completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina before pursuing an elite fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Today, he focuses his practice on rhinoplasty, facelifts, eyelid surgery, and advanced facial rejuvenation procedures.

With more than 15 years of experience and a dedication to precision and artistry, Dr. Shadfar continues to advance the field through research, academic contributions, and his active membership in the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Kevin Hargrove, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon whose career has been dedicated to advancing sports medicine and restoring mobility for athletes and active individuals across Oklahoma.

Born and raised in Jenks, Oklahoma, Dr. Hargrove earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University before receiving his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. After completing his orthopedic residency at the University of Oklahoma, he expanded his expertise internationally through the prestigious AO International Trauma and Sports Fellowship in Celle and Mainz, Germany. He later completed advanced fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery with the nationally recognized Tuckahoe Orthopedics in Richmond, Virginia.

Since returning to Oklahoma in 1994, Dr. Hargrove has built a reputation for excellence in:

From 2004–2018, he served as team physician for the United States Softball team and had the privilege of representing Team USA as a physician at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Hargrove remains deeply involved in Oklahoma’s sports community. He serves on the board of the Jim Thorpe Association and contributes to the selection committee for the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.

When he’s not in the operating room, you’ll find him gardening, biking, cheering on OU football, or spending time with his family and grandchildren—who affectionately call him “Doc.”

Dr. John Belardo

At OneCore Health, we are honored to feature Dr. John Belardo, a nationally recognized ophthalmologist and surgical innovator dedicated to advancing vision care.

Dr. Belardo has performed more than 20,000 cataract surgeries and over 40,000 vision correction procedures, transforming the lives of patients across Oklahoma and beyond. He was the first surgeon in Oklahoma to perform topical anesthesia cataract surgery, setting a new standard for patient comfort and surgical precision.

Throughout his career, Dr. Belardo has remained at the forefront of evolving ophthalmic technology and technique. He has lectured extensively on cataracts, cornea, glaucoma, and plastic surgery, and has participated in cataract mission work both internationally and throughout the United States.

Dr. Eric Porritt, a dedicated orthopedic surgeon serving patients right here in Norman.

A true Sooner, Dr. Porritt grew up in Norman and graduated from Norman High School before earning his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma. He completed medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and his orthopedic residency at St. James/Christ Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Porritt’s career began in service to our country. As prior service Army, he started his orthopedic practice on active duty in Landstuhl, Germany, and was selected to deploy to Afghanistan with the elite 160th Forward Surgical Team (FST), supporting Special Forces operations. His trauma expertise later helped two hospitals transition into Level II Trauma Centers in Denver, CO and Utica, NY.

In 2022, he returned home to join Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center, where he practices a full spectrum of general orthopedics with a special interest in hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Porritt has specialized in the innovative SuperPATH® hip replacement approach, a tissue-sparing technique associated with lower complication rates and faster recovery. He also performs total knee replacements, including the highly regarded Oxford partial knee replacement. His philosophy centers on a personalized, customizable approach to surgery — because care should never be “one size fits all.”
Beyond the operating room, Dr. Porritt is a family man, married to his high school sweetheart and father to five children. He remains active in his church and community, enjoys the outdoors, skiing, and even competing in Spartan races.
After serving around the world, Dr. Porritt always knew he would return home to Sooner Nation — and we’re honored to have him serving patients in our community.

Physician Highlight | Dr. Bradley Reddick

Bradley Reddick brings next-level joint replacement expertise to the OneCore Health network. An Oklahoma native, Dr. Reddick completed his medical degree at Oklahoma State University Health Sciences Center, followed by internship and residency at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, and advanced fellowship training focused on hip and knee replacement.

His practice centers on cutting-edge joint replacement techniques, including Direct Anterior Approach Total Hip Arthroplasty, robotic-assisted total and partial knee replacement, complex revision cases, and comprehensive rapid-recovery protocols designed to get patients moving sooner with better pain control.

As Oklahoma’s consulting physician for Stryker Orthopedics, Dr. Reddick has played a direct role in advancing total robotic hip procedures using the Mako robot and regularly trains surgeons nationwide in complex robotic techniques—bringing nationally recognized innovation back home to Oklahoma.
