This week has been a hard one.
As a dietitian, I’m trained to help people through weight, nutrition, and building sustainable habits. But there are moments when I have to pause and recognize… this is bigger than food.
I’ve seen it more lately—especially in women.
They show up. They smile. They push through.
But underneath, the struggle is loud.
And sometimes, no meal plan or macro adjustment can touch what’s really going on.
There comes a point where the most responsible thing I can do is step back and say:
you deserve more support than nutrition alone.
Mental health matters.
Your emotional well-being matters.
Having a full care team—medical, mental health, support systems—matters.
Because sometimes the “weight” we’re carrying has nothing to do with food.
If you’re silently struggling, you don’t have to do it alone.
And if you’re someone who “looks okay” on the outside but feels overwhelmed inside—your experience is valid.
This is part of health too. 🤎
