Winter Solstice Prayer & Song Ceremony (Indoor Inipi-Style Gathering)

Join us for a sacred Winter Solstice gathering held indoors, honoring the ways of the Inipi (sweat lodge)—adapted for the season and shared with deep respect and care.

With over 20 years of Sundancing and two decades of tending lodge, I will guide this ceremonial space rooted in the Lakota ways, as carried by the Plains Métis tradition—honoring the teachings without changing them.

What to expect:
✨ Creating an altar and setting the directional flags
✨ Loading the pipe and offering prayers for compassion and help
✨ Prayer songs, spirit-calling songs, and flute spirit-calling songs
✨ Collective prayer and deep listening
✨ Spirit-talking songs and healing songs
✨ Healing with the wing and stone
✨ A gratitude song for the Winter Solstice
✨ Closing with pipe outside and a spirit-sending song

Many of these songs have not been sung in this area for a very long time—or ever. This is a rare and meaningful opportunity to sit in ceremony, prayer, and remembrance.
