A quick little trip down I-40 turned into a whole heart-reset. We drove out to watch .hamlin kick off her weekend season opener as a Blossom, and my built-in chauffeur made that 3-hour drive feel like a mini momma-daughter adventure. My soul needed that. 💗
There is nothing like seeing my girl out there in her element —focused & doing what she loves. Just watching her on that court fills me up in a way I can’t explain. I got my quick squeeze hugs, dropped off her little care package, shed a few (okay… more than a few) tears because this momma misses her girl… and then we all headed back home/school.
But wow… my heart is FULL.
These girls of mine make me the proudest momma in the entire world. Watching them grow into the women they’re becoming — strong, driven, compassionate, resilient — it’s the sweetest chapter of my life. Even in the quiet moments when it feels a little lonely, I wouldn’t trade this season for anything.
They are becoming the most incredible women. And I’m just so grateful I get to be their momma. 💚💖
