🌿 Tip Tuesday | Lindsi Lou

“Nourish to Flourish”

isn’t about restriction, rules, or guilt (we are SO OVER THAT) — it’s an act of self-love.
It’s choosing foods that make you feel grounded, energized, and aligned, not because you “should,” but, because you deserve to feel your best.

✨ Remember: every meal is a moment to care for your body the way you care for your mind and spirit.
Whether that looks like a colorful salad, a warm bowl of soup, or a mindful sip of tea (check out the self love tea on my site) — it’s not about perfection, it’s about .

Let your plate be a reflection of the love you’re giving yourself today. 💜

>>What’s one meal or snack that makes you feel truly cared for? I am making soups and crockpot meals. Please share recipes below so we can inspire each other’s self-care menus! 🌸.

Mindful Monday Reflection ✨

Today I’m reflecting on one of the most beautiful cultural traditions I’ve ever learned — Día de los Mu***os, the Day of the Dead, and the soulful practice of building an ofrenda, or altar of remembrance.

An ofrenda isn’t about mourning. It’s about celebrating the continuing connection we share with those who came before us. It’s a way of saying, love doesn’t end — it transforms.

Each element on the altar carries meaning and mindfulness:

🕯️ Candles light the way home
🌼 Marigolds guide the spirit with their scent
đź“· Photos invite memory and story
🍞 Favorite foods nourish and honor their essence
🦋 Butterflies & papel picado symbolize transformation and the fragility of life

This tradition teaches me how to live with deeper presence — to honor the cycles of life, hold gratitude in my heart, and infuse even ordinary moments with intention.

✨ Journal Prompt:
What helps you stay connected to the people or memories that have shaped who you are today?

Share a name, memory, or tradition in the comments that you hold dear. Let’s honor them together. 💛

This morning, as I stood under the warm water and sunlight streamed through the window, I looked up and saw my shower plant swaying in the mist.

Something about that moment stopped me — the simplicity, the stillness, the reminder.

This is how I choose to live: intentionally.

To notice how the light bends through droplets.
To honor the elements — water, air, earth, light — all weaving their own quiet harmony.

To breathe deeply, to cleanse gently, and to let presence be my daily practice.

When we slow down, the ordinary becomes sacred.

🪴 🌱 🌿

✨ Reflection prompt:
What beauty is quietly blooming in the ordinary corners of your life today?

💬 I’d love to hear your reflection — share it in the comments or tag me in your own moment so we can inspire one another.

Self-care isn’t only about what we do for our bodies — it’s about how we tend to the energy that surrounds and supports us.
Your home is an energetic extension of you. The way it feels — light, cluttered, heavy, peaceful — mirrors your own vibration. When you cleanse your space, you’re not just tidying your home; you’re recalibrating your frequency.

At the start of each month, I practice a simple yet powerful ritual: sweeping, cleansing, and blessing the front entry of my home.
It’s a way to symbolically release the energy of the past month and invite in the new — peace, protection, abundance, and renewal.

Your doorway is the threshold between your inner and outer worlds — where energy, opportunity, and alignment enter.
When you clear it, you invite new flow. When you bless it, you anchor the vibration you wish to live within.

This practice isn’t superstition; it’s symbolism.
It’s a sensory, intentional act of alignment — a way to honor both your home and your inner world.

Step 1: Sweep the Porch

Sweep your front porch or entryway. Focus not only on removing dust but on releasing the stagnant energy that may have settled in over the past month. Visualize clearing space for clarity, calm, and new beginnings.

Step 2: Wipe the Door

Use warm water and a few drops of essential oil such as lemon, rosemary, or cedar.
As you wipe, imagine removing energetic residue and anything that does not align with peace, protection, and abundance.

Step 3: Cleanse and Clear the Space

Before welcoming new energy, allow the old to move out.
Light incense, herbs, or a candle.
Play soft, soothing music or sound frequencies.
Open windows and doors to invite in fresh air and movement.
Allow your home to breathe again.

Step 4: Blow the Salt

Take a small handful of salt — a natural purifier and protector.
Stand outside your front door, ground yourself, and affirm:

“I release all negativity and resistance blocking peace, abundance, and flow. My home is clear, grounded, and protected.”

Blow the salt into your doorway, symbolizing the release of all energy that no longer serves your highest good.

Step 5: Blow the Cinnamon

Take a pinch of cinnamon — the spice of prosperity, joy, and warmth.
Hold it in your palms and affirm:

“Abundance flows freely into my home. Wealth, creativity, and blessings find me with ease. My space is open and ready to receive.”

Blow the cinnamon inward, symbolizing blessings, wealth, and joy entering your home and anchoring in your space.

Why This Is Self-Care

Tending to your environment is tending to your nervous system.
When your surroundings are grounded, your energy follows.
Intentional rituals like this remind your body what safety, clarity, and alignment feel like.

You’re not simply cleaning your doorway — you’re declaring:
“I am ready for peace. I am ready for ease. I am ready for abundance.”

Take ten mindful minutes today to do this ritual for yourself — even if it’s just sweeping your porch and speaking an affirmation aloud.
When you finish, pause and feel the shift. Notice how your home breathes differently. Notice how you do.

Then, if you feel called, share what you experienced. Energy moves in unique ways for everyone, and your reflection may inspire someone else to begin their own practice.

Sometimes the most meaningful feedback comes from the simplest moments.

A client recently shared this message after drinking one of my Self-Love Herbal Teas:

“My tummy wasn’t feeling so well this morning because I ate a lot of crap yesterday, but I drank one of your teas and it soothed my belly completely. I don’t feel bloated or upset anymore. 💗 Thank you for sharing your beautiful healing love and light in your products.”

(Shared with permission 🤎)

It’s stories like this that remind me why I do what I do — to help others reconnect with their bodies, calm their systems, and find peace through simple, intentional acts of care.

Herbs have a remarkable ability to support the body on multiple levels — emotionally, energetically, and physically. They can gently guide the nervous system from fight-or-flight into rest-and-receive, soothe the digestive system, and open the heart to deeper presence.

So I’m curious…
🌿 Do you drink herbal tea?
🌿 Have you ever noticed how your body shifts after a calming cup?
🌿 Which herbs or blends do you find yourself drawn to when you need grounding or comfort?

As we move into the holiday season, may this be your reminder that self-care doesn’t have to be grand — sometimes it’s as simple as one mindful sip.

If you feel called to explore the Self-Love Herbal Tea blend that inspired this story (or share it as a gift of calm with someone you love), you can find it at :

One questions I have been getting often lately is:
How often should I do ?
So, I thought I would share the answer with all of my (and Bros)

This graphic is a general guideline, but also as most of you know I am a big encourager of "listen to your body and trust yourself." Most of us have been taught NOT to trust ourselves so it is a bit of a practice we have to relearn, but we do know what is best for ourselves imo.

I do not want you to miss an opportunity to practice and plug in. Please be sure you are on my email list. If you are not, please say email below and I will message you or just drop your email.

I also have all events posted on and under my cover photo, listed in my linktree in bio, and on my website lindsilou, com. Please add to your calendar, get your tickets, and share with friends. I do have a referral program (check out on website).

🌿 Mindfulness Monday: Reset The Rhythm

It’s so easy to start the week on autopilot — chasing to-do lists, answering messages, trying to “catch up.”

But what if Mondays weren’t about catching up… what if they were about syncing up?

Syncing your energy with your breath.
Syncing your pace with your body.
Syncing your focus with what actually matters.

Before you dive into the doing, take a moment to breathe — really breathe.

Let your body catch up to your mind.
Let your heart set the rhythm for the week ahead.

✨ This week’s invitation: Move slower than your mind wants to. See what shifts when you stop rushing the moment you’re in.

💭 Tell me — what’s one mindful way you’re choosing to reset your rhythm this week? Drop it in the comments or send me a DM so I can cheer you on in your intention.
