We’re grateful to welcome Beth White to our teaching team. Many of you know Beth as owner of , where she poured her heart into creating a community centered on kindness, compassion, and genuine care.

Beth carries a quiet wisdom and a deep ability to self-reflect and realign with what matters most. We’re honored to have her share her practice and presence with our community.

Beginning Monday, December 15, Beth will offer a weekly prenatal class in the skylight room from 12 to 1 pm. If you know someone expecting, we’d love to support them on their journey☺️.

Dear Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Edwin Miller’s passing. Edwin was a pastor, a therapist, and a lifelong student of the human spirit. He worked in service to others until his final days, and he practiced here with us right up to the end.

Edwin began practicing at This Land in 2018 and quickly became a familiar and steady presence. Over the years, he participated in nearly every class we offer, serving as a reminder that we belong, and that yoga can carry us through all seasons of life.

Edwin never held back when it came to expressing gratitude. He often shared how much this place meant to him, how much he loved the teachers, and how deeply he valued being part of our community. Practicing here was woven into the fabric of his life, and his warmth and sincerity touched many of us.

We have placed a journal in the studio for anyone who would like to write a note or share a memory of Edwin. You are welcome to add your reflections whenever you feel called. Edwin’s wife, Rita, will share details about his service soon. As soon as we have more information, we will pass it along so those who wish to honor him may do so.

As I walked to the studio yesterday, I watched the leaves falling and thought of Edwin. I was reminded of the preciousness and impermanence of life, and of how lucky we are to be here in this moment in time sharing space together. Edwin’s memory will live on here, both in the quiet ways he shaped this place and in the imprint he left on those who practiced beside him.

Thank you all for cherishing this community, for nurturing one another, and for contributing to this loving and supportive space🤍 🕊️

New Moon Yin this Wednesday at 6 pm 🌑✨

Join us in the Skylight Space for an intimate new moon practice with limited spots available. With the skylight above us, we will soften into stillness, set intentions for this lunar cycle, and gently envision what we are ready to call in and what we are ready to let fall away.

The room will be softly lit by the fading ambient sky overhead, creating a quiet, supportive space to listen inward and reset.

Regular class credits apply. Early sign up is required for this one, as space is very limited. 🕯🤍
