🎃Meet the Farmers behind PumpkinMania! 🎃

Cleav's Family Market is a diversified farm stretching from Hart to LaRue county. They offer Buyer's Club subscriptions of seasonal produce and meat, and will be opening their first brick and mortar farm store coming soon! Visit www.cleavsfamilymarket.com to learn more.

Slak Market Farm is a micro-dairy located in Fayette county offering herd shares, Halal meat & eggs, and staycations at their Dairy Dream overnight family farm stay. Visit www.slakmarket.com to learn more.

So how do they work together? Cleav's Family Market grows the pumpkins. Then Slak Market Farm collects the pumpkin innards and used carved pumpkins to feed to their livestock. Everybody wins!

Join us tomorrow at the PumpkinMania Festival, Sunday, October 26 for pumpkin carving, games, food trucks and activities for all ages.

PumpkinMania is back for its 15th year at Transylvania University, and Lexington is ready to glow again. Each October, the steps of historic Old Morrison — a National Historic Landmark — come alive with the light of hundreds of carved jack-o’-lanterns. Families, alumni, students and community members gather to create one of the region’s most breathtaking Halloween traditions. Reserve your pumpkin at https://www.transy.edu/calendar/pumpkinmania today!
