Yesterday, our L.I.F.E. 5.0 leadership team gave up their time to post positive and uplifting art outside of the Olathe Cancer Center.

It is important that our future leaders understand that leading starts with giving back to the community and showing compassion for others.

We left uplifting messages at the front entrance for patients and at the staff entrance to remind the people that care for those with cancer that we understand how challenging their chosen profession is and they are appreciated.

After being cooped up due to the weather, these kids are finally getting to go outside and run.

The first game they wanted to play? Cops and robbers.

Today, our incoming middle schoolers took a field trip to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Criminalistics Lab.

We learned about fingerprinting, ballistics, DNA evidence, crime scene investigations, toxicology and drug identification.

We discussed the connection between physics, geometry, psychology, and other scientific studies. Also, how they interact and how we use them in our daily lives and martial arts training.
