🤍 Supporting school-age children means supporting their whole world.
If your child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, behavior changes, school stress, friendships, or confidence, I want you to know—you’re not alone, and neither are they. Childhood can be full of pressure, transitions, and feelings that are hard to name, let alone manage.
In my work at Your Next Right Step Therapy, I support school-age children by helping them understand their emotions, build coping skills, and feel safe expressing what’s going on inside. I also work closely with caregivers, because supporting a child often means supporting the whole family system. Therapy can be a place where your child feels seen—and where you feel supported, too.
I offer daytime hours and accept Kansas Medicaid plans (Healthy Blue, UHC, and Sunflower), as well as Aetna, Cigna, and self-pay options.
If you’ve been wondering whether therapy could help your child, it’s okay to ask questions and take things one step at a time. Reaching out doesn’t mean something is “wrong”—it means you care.
Your child doesn’t have to navigate this alone. 🤍
