❄️ Winter Storm Awareness | KC Metro ❄️
As winter weather moves into the Kansas City area this weekend, we want to remind our clients, families, and caregivers that safety comes first.
Forecasts indicate multiple rounds of snow that may impact travel. At A Friend in Need Home Care, we are actively monitoring conditions and preparing to adjust schedules if necessary to keep everyone safe.
We kindly ask families to:
• Ensure walkways are clear and salted
• Have a backup support plan in place if travel becomes unsafe
• Stay in communication with our office as conditions change
Thank you for working with us as we continue providing compassionate care, no matter the weather. 💙

January is National Blood Donor Month, a time to learn how blood donation supports emergency care, medical treatment, and recovery for people of all ages.
Hospitals rely on consistent donations to ensure care is available when it’s needed most, especially during the winter months when supplies often run low.
At A Friend in Need Home Care, we believe education empowers healthier communities and stronger care systems.
