Today’s the Day!

Ottawa University’s Women’s Volleyball Team is hosting its Hat and Glove Drive to benefit HPC today, Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Wilson Fieldhouse in Ottawa!

All donated winter hats and gloves will help keep our patients and families warm across all HPC locations this season.

A huge thank you to Brenna Diller, a senior on the team, for coordinating this effort—and to the Ottawa University community for their generosity and support.

We can’t wait to share the results of the drive—thank you for helping make a difference!

HPC staff had some fun this year with a Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Teams and individuals entered their creations for patients and staff to vote on.

We saw some creative designs, but Team #1 took First Place with their Instant Ramen pumpkin!

A big thank-you to everyone who joined in — it was a great way to get patients involved and add some festive fun to the season!

This evening we are thrilled to attend All Families, ONE Community Fall Cultural Connection Event at SM West. And it’s trick or treat time! HPC’s school based health clinic is located here!

Today, HPC’s Chief Health Officer Dr. Tiffany Swanson, DO, OBGYN, spoke with the team at TY Turner Yates Construction Company at the Panasonic Electric Vehicle Battery facility about the importance of breast cancer prevention and the health services available through HPC.

We’re proud to partner with local employers to bring vital health education and care directly to our community!

We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news!

HPC recently received 300 sack lunches and healthy food items to distribute to our patients across all clinic sites. Plus, Seaboard Foods employees went above and beyond—creating friendship bracelets and uplifting message cards to brighten our patients’ day.

A heartfelt thank you to Seaboard Foods in Merriam, Kan. and the United Way of Greater Kansas City for their generosity and partnership. As a proud United Way Impact 100 Partner, we’re so grateful for their continued support in helping us care for our community.

Lunches and food items will be distributed to the clinics this week and communications will go out to our patients when they are ready to pick up. Patients are encouraged to take a lunch sack for each member of their family on a first come first serve basis.

During our visit at Seaboard, we had the chance to share HPC’s mission and services—all of the employees were learning about us for the first time! We truly value this new connection and the shared spirit of giving that helps us make a difference every day.

The Health Insurance Marketplace (also known as the “Marketplace” or “exchange”) opens Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025 and will close Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. The Marketplace provides health plan shopping and enrollment services through websites, call centers and in-person help. At Health Partnership Clinic, we offer free, in-person help with the health insurance application.
