Large crowd out for our Chaplain Gene Christmas Sing Along this afternoon. All singing along and enjoying all of his songs with a few kids Christmas letters to Santa. He is a real entertainer. This is such a great season that brings everyone together. Merry Christmas to all.

Annual Resident Gift to Staff party this afternoon. This is the only time this year that the residents can give to our staff thanking them for all they do. Staff are so greatful for what they receive from the residents. They get to thank them in person as well. What a wonderful thing this is at Christmas time.

I was so reluctant at first to share my story. But, why not? It’s just another step in life.

We have given and done for people all our lives. But it’s different when it comes to it given for yourself.

While the PMMA policy assures privacy to recipients of the Good Samaritan Program, Barbara has allowed us to share her story so others might understand what the program means to residents who depend on it to remain in their homes.
