We’re proud to continue our partnership with Mystic Aquarium🐋 This past week, we had the privilege of welcoming their team to the JLN Safety Training Center for hands-on fall protection training - focused on real-world application, hazard recognition, and building confidence in critical safety skills.

It’s always a great experience working with such a dedicated (and fun!) group of professionals who are committed to keeping their team safe while doing the important work they do every day.

We love seeing our community partners in action! It was a privilege to host the City of Middletown Professional Firefighters Local 1073 at our facility JLN Safety Training Center for their recent confined space rescue training.

Ensuring that our first responders have a realistic environment to sharpen their skills in horizontal and vertical entries and advanced rigging is central to what we do. Safety and proficiency in high-risk environments save lives, and we are proud to support this team’s commitment to excellence.

This facility is incredible: it's two steam units with a net generating capacity of 1,690 megawatts (MW), enough to supply more than 1.3 million homes. Our team is on-site supporting critical maintenance operations - ensuring workers go home safe while projects stay on schedule.

On this day, we pause to remember the 100 lives lost and the hundreds forever impacted by the tragic Station Nightclub fire in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
This devastating event changed the fire protection and life safety landscape across the country. It reinforced a truth our industry knows well:
Complacency costs lives.
From blocked egress paths to improper use of pyrotechnics and insufficient fire protection systems, the lessons from the Station fire continue to shape codes, inspections, and training to this day.

At JLN Safety, we honor those lost by doing the work that prevents history from repeating itself:

Today the facilities to which we provide services to have minimal staffing, and rely on us for cost-efficient, highly-effective Safety and Fire Protection Program Support. These vary from: Staff Augmentation, Inspection and Audits, Code Compliance, Training, Outage Support, Program and Procedure Analysis Review & Correction, as well as HD Multimedia Presentation Production. We pride ourselves in the level of integration we provide to our clients and consider ourselves a one-stop shop for Fire Protection and Safety Services with years of experience and reference behind us.
