Happy to announce my space at 105 Locust Suite C is going to be open as a ✨Mom/Baby Hub✨ during the Old Monroe Spring Market this Sunday, May 3rd, 9am-2pm!

Whether you need a cozy space to sit down and breastfeed your baby or give a bottle, or you need to change a diaper, the hub will be open with more quiet and comfort in mind! A private bathroom is also available *by request only* if you have a little one who may not want to use a portapotty, or if you’re solo parenting and need a more secure space to bring your kiddo in while you use the bathroom.
🪴Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent the entire time, for everyone’s safety.
🪴While I would love this space to be open to all, the priority will go to moms and babies who need a comfy place for feedings or diaper changes.
🪴Feel free to feed yourself when you stop by to feed your baby. I have quite a few chairs and a table! All are available for use; please keep in mind that everyone who visits is responsible for cleaning up their own messes and taking their own trash with them.

It often takes 4+ weeks to get paid and then the perforation never matches the letter’s crease, so I risk ripping the checks every time 😂 first world problems, amiright? The worse issues I can’t even legally or ethically state on social media🙈 So I hope this little situation gives a silly glimpse into the world of being credentialed with insurance

Some heavy-hitting books on the docket as I always strive to learn more about mental health and community through other lenses and not just in required continuing education courses. I’m honestly stoked to read these! I first attempted to listen to a couple of them and quickly decided that I needed physical copies😍

🪴 *The Nurture Revolution* by whom I’ve followed for some time now and highly respect in the world of mother-baby neuroscience!
🪴 *The Anxious Generation* by who has caused a great ripple effect with this book, that I can’t wait to read in full now that I’m focusing on a physical copy😅
🪴*I Was Told There’d Be a Village* by Melissa Wirt, whom I’m excited to read for the first time and believe this is a timely message for both personal and professional life.

I’m considering a book club focusing on books that are therapeutic but not therapy, so if that sounds interesting, chime in and I’ll get a list of options going and set up an interest list as well!

Hi everyone! I’ve had some questions about what insurances I offer, and I’m happy to announce I’ve added a few to my repertoire! I’ve been paneled with UHC/UMR/Optum (same parent company) for some time now, but in partnering with Headway I’m also now paneled with these other options!

These lampshades 🤝 incandescent lights
I’m not a “big light” person (IYKYK) so I intentionally placed these lamps with incandescent bulbs in a way that gives clients and myself soft lighting to reduce stress and promote calm and healing during therapy sessions. Has anyone else felt the benefits of switching to incandescent? I can tell in my body that I feel wayyyy better using these bulbs instead of LED!

Boundaries… somewhat hard to nail down in definition but maybe this will help give a visual! I made it on the fly so I’m happy to answer any questions. This is a visual I discuss often with clients and gives some much-needed language to an often-frustrating issue.
