If you are in need of narcan for yourself or a loved one, we at Seaside Family Health Care have some for free distribution. Narcan saves lives and we are happy to contribute to life saving measures. Take care of yourselves and enjoy your Thanksgiving. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for.

The agency has seen a 13% increase in opioid-related 911 calls compared to this point in 2019

We continue to offer COVID19 testing with turn around time in most cases of 24 hours. I have done dozens of tests in the clinic over the last several months and have not had ONE single case come back positive. As always we remain open during this crisis and have put all the necessary precautions in place including plexiglass dividers, masks, hand sanitizer and taking everyone's temperature when you arrive. Please be patient with us thru this ordeal as we continue to strive to give you the very best care in the most trying of times. It is an honor to continue to serve our community.

A step in the right direction!

In response to a growing epidemic of opioid overdoses and deaths, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on July 23, 2020, updated requirements for prescription labels accompanying opioid pain relievers and medicines to treat opioid use disorder (OUD).

Since May 1, a total of 86 drug overdoses have been reported in the city, 7 of them fatal.
