You wonder how your pets are being treated when they go to the back? They get love, and time and understanding. In the left picture Ashi was crying because she didn't want to be alone after her surgery,so Alexis held her. C**t was terrified so Dr. Kitz sat on the floor under a desk with him so he wouldn't be so scared and held him while his treatments were done. ❤️❤️❤️

This is 3yr old Ellie. She was recently diagnosed with Addison's disease. She first went to VEG for having an Addisonian crisis. She's too young you say? Addison's disease is an uncommon disease in dogs and is caused by a deficiency of essential hormones made by the adrenal gland. It's more common in younger females. After being diagnosed and stabilized with medications the prognosis is very good. Addison's disease symptoms can mimic other sicknesses. Symptoms include lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, trembling, and increased thirst and urination. Fortunately Ellie's parents reacted quickly and she spent nearly a week with us getting her stabilized. Now little Ellie is feeling much better. ❤️
