The Crafty Crew has successfully launched their Christmas Mantle!!

A gingerbread village, hot cocoa mugs, candy of every kind and an incredible dollop of love!!!
Two months of creativity and lots of detailing and patience! We utilized spakel, spray insulation, flower pots, pool noodles and an incredible amount of cardboard!

Today, we had the honor of recognizing one of our outstanding employees, Laurie Donner, as the recipient of the 2025 Leading Age of New York Employee of Distinction Award.

The Employee of Distinction Award honors the extraordinary dedication of direct and indirect service staff—those who go above and beyond to improve the lives of those they serve. Whether through positively impacting quality of life, enhancing a program, or demonstrating unwavering commitment, these individuals truly make a difference.

Congratulations, Laurie! Your dedication and compassion inspire us all.

The award was presented by representatives from Leading Age New York, including Ken Allison, Cattaraugus County Legislators Robert Parker and Rick Smith, and our very own Administrator, Tammy Reynolds.

Looking for something to do next weekend with the kids? Bring them over to The Pines Olean for some trick or treating! Our residents absolutely love handing out candy and seeing all the little ones dressed up! We are also seeking candy donations for the residents to pass out to the kids. If you would like to donate a bag of Halloween candy, please drop it off at the front desk for Kristie Schlopy. Trick or Treat at The Pines of Olean is October 25th @ 10:30am 🎃🎃

Today, our Annual Walk to End Alzheimer's took place, filled with sunshine and heartfelt smiles as we collectively walked for a future cure. We express our deepest gratitude to our volunteers, staff, families, and residents whose contributions ensured the day's success and made it truly memorable. 💜🤍💜
