💜 This week, the We Remember Committee marked one of our most time-honored traditions here at Intandem. Each holiday season, we lay memorial wreaths in loving memory of the Intandem community members we have lost over the years. People may pass on but their impact on us remains. It is our honor to memorialize the people we have supported for many years. This year, and every year, we remember you!

We extend our sincere congratulations to the very deserving Stitt Family and the CUTCO Foundation for their support of Intandem and The Intandem Foundation. Their support continues to empower our mission and enrich our community.

We congratulate the Cutco Cutlery Foundation on receiving the Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation Award from the AFP WNY Chapter at this year’s National Philanthropy Day celebration in Buffalo!

For generations, the Cutco Foundation, led by the Stitt family, has strengthened the Greater Olean region through unwavering support of healthcare, education, the arts, and community development. Their generosity has touched countless lives, including many here at .

"The Foundation has been a vital partner in strengthening JCC’s Cattaraugus County Campus," President Daniel DeMarte said. "Thanks to their support, the campus is now better equipped with modern facilities and more capable of providing financial assistance to local students in need.”

The Cutco Foundation was nominated for the honor by JCC, St. Bonaventure University, and Olean General Hospital.

🇺🇸 Tuesday With a Twist: Operation Gratitude!🎖️
❤️ Over the past few weeks, the Intandem community has come together in a spirit of gratitude and service to support our veterans in need. While reflecting on the sacrifices of our veteran community, we collected items to create care packages for local veterans. Today, we not only turned over these generously donated items to the American Legion, but we welcomed a very special guest speaker, Commander Mark Erickson. Originally from Jamestown, Commander Erickson has worked for 38 years in government or military service, between the Air Force, working at the VA hospital and DHS. Today, Mark drives a school bus part-time and serves as Commander of the American Legion Wheatfield Post 1451. Thank you for the visit, Commander Erickson, and thank you to all our Veterans for their service!

Norm the Turkey made one last heartfelt plea this week — encouraging everyone to consider ham for Thanksgiving! 🦃😄
Norm and his owner Mike from Sun-Dance Kids Farm strutted in at Day Services showing off his feathers and charm on their “pork promotion tour” in a last-ditch effort to convince everyone that turkeys are far too beautiful to be on the dinner table. Norm was a total hit —posing for photos, greeting fans, and reminding us all that ham really deserves its moment to shine. 😄 We loved having this wonderful bird visit and brighten everyone’s day!

Participants and staff joined in the fun for National Jersey Day, wearing their favorite team jerseys and decorating cookies inspired by the day. 🍪✨
