Team spirit was shining at Allegany Day Services on Friday! 🎉💚

Participants and staff joined in the fun for National Jersey Day, wearing their favorite team jerseys and decorating cookies inspired by the day. 🍪✨

Thank you to the City of Lockport Fire Department for making a visit to our Lockport Day Services earlier this week to show us their fire truck and equipment and share some helpful fire safety tips! Fun, movement, and teamwork at Allegany Day Services! 🎯

Our participants had a blast navigating an obstacle course designed by three incredible St. Bonaventure University Occupational Therapy students — Ciara Farley, Jack Harper, and Grace Burns! 👏

Each station encouraged movement, balance, and coordination — and most importantly, gave everyone a chance to join in the fun! 💪

We’re so grateful for our partnership with St. Bonaventure and for students like Ciara, Jack, and Grace who bring creativity, compassion, and energy to our programs. 🌿

Today, our Niagara pre-vocational team from Intandem made a fun and educational trip to Mercy Flight headquarters in Buffalo. With a familiar face, Elaine Duquette, as our tour guide, we saw up close how Mercy Flight provides vital services to our community by helicopter and ambulance at a moment’s notice from the communications center for dispatch to the staff quarters. Then, our friendly pilot, paramedic and nurse took us to the hangar to see the helicopters! Thank you, Mercy Flight, for a great visit and all that you do!
