In 2018, we started this practice and many people probably don’t know this but it couldn’t of been possible without two amazing people; Karen Fohl and Sami Manirath. That is where the blood, sweat and tears truly started.
Today was a typical Wednesday at the office when we received the devistating news of Sami’s tragic death in Fort Kent. Sami was a literal angel. She was kind, compassionate, driven, funny, and she only wanted the best for everyone around her; including people she didn’t even know. She would do anything for you, just to see you smile. 6 years ago, she knew how much we wanted this practice and she did everything in her power to help make it happen; because that’s just the kind of person she was. Without all of Sami’s hard work then in 2018 who knows if we would be here, treating patients right now.
Today, just one day after her 52nd birthday she was suddenly taken from this earth. As I write this I still cannot believe it to be true. No one could possibly understand why such a beautiful soul had to be taken from us, especially so young and full of life.
Sami, you were a one of a kind person and this world will not be the same without you in it. To anyone who knows and loves Sami the way we do, including her wonderful family, we are here for you. đź’›
