Today’s free ice skating event brought our community together, and we were proud to take part alongside Olean City Fire. A special thank you to Operation Warm Hearts for making free skating and admission possible for families today.
Along with the help of Olean City Fire Rescue we were able to hand out free carbon monoxide safety kits and winter hats to community members, helping keep families safe and warm during the winter months. We were also honored to have Mayor Amy Sherburn attend and support this wonderful community event.
Thank you to everyone who came out, skated, and connected with us today. Events like this remind us how strong our community is together!

A message from the CEO:
We were founded in 1994 as one of New York State’s first four nonprofit rural health care networks. Our mission then is the same as it is now – to improve the health and wellness of the rural communities we serve in Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties.
We love to work with our member agencies and community partners to develop innovative solutions and programs to address the health-care challenges confronting our communities. We believe that by following our core values of compassion, integrity, accountability and collaboration we will achieve our mission and help build a better community for everyone.
As President and CEO of Southern Tier Health Care System, I’d like to invite you to explore our website and review the programs we have created with the help of our members and community partners.
