01/31/2026
Hello and good evening my Dear Ones.
Such a cold stretch, such a strange month this first of 2026 and how are you feeling? I have many ideas of how you may choose to fill in that blank but I also wonder... is there space for "hopeful"? Amidst a very dark month in our country, regarding matters we so often feel we can do little about, how do you show up in your neighborhood? In your daily ramblings, at your place of work, where you socialize, where you purchase your groceries, where you drop your kids... I have many ideas of how you may choose to fill in that blank but I also wonder... is there space for "connection"?
A connected community is a strong community.
So, let us be strong!
Community does not have to be a big group project for the extroverts only, it is also in the small inner workings of our relationships with those we pass quickly, in the quiet smile to the bank teller or to the dog groomer, or to the front desk worker or the elderly person sitting near you in the waiting room. The clerk you see when you return your library books, the mail person delivering your packages - how do we create a safe and harmonious place for all our neighbors? That's my question but the answer is only yours. Allow your practice to leave the mat and merge into the real yoga - your life. You know, a small note of thanks moves mountains. How it warms your heart when you see a small surprise?
This month I ask you all - invitation without expectation - to consider taking 5 minutes and create/paint/record/write out a small note of positivity (perhaps a Valentine even?!) to leave anonymously out in our community however that comes naturally to you. Leave it with intention and know the recipient will be right on time. Let us create a web of loving kindness in the Enchanted Mountains. (and if you don't live here currently, let us ripple out wherever that is!)
My note to you all:
May you be filled with loving kindness.
May you be peaceful and at ease.
May you be well.
May you know happiness and the roots of all happiness.
Join us and nourish yourself. Stay warm friends, stay hopeful, stay connected, stay strong.

🪷 Kelly will continue leading yoga Tuesday nights for February! Join her from 6-7:15pm to "Find Peace and Joy in the Winter Stillness"! Beat the winter blues by aligning your practice with the season's natural rhythm. We will move from the "Art of Hibernation" (think restorative, rest, grounding) to "Returning the Light" (heart-openers, heat-building flows, sparking joy and vitality) as we advance through the weeks. Kelly will offer you techniques to boost your mood and stay mindful. $15 per drop in or grab a Wellspring pass! All levels welcome.
🌼 Jessie is with you for yoga on Saturday mornings this Winter! Each Saturday morning from 9-10am, all levels welcome. This series will be an offering of self study as well as community building. Most weeks the opportunity to have tea and conversation is open after class. Come once or come each week, we will explore breathing and movement as we work through the season learning a bit more about the Yamas and Niyamas. This learning layers in your practice so that you may show up off the mat just as intentionally as you do on it. $15 per drop in or grab a Wellspring pass! *Note Kelly will be filling in for Jessie on 2/7 and 2/14! Thanks Kelly!
