The beginning of 2025 to the end of 2025!

2025 was her year and I can’t wait to see what 2026 holds.

2025 accomplishments:
-We spent 99% of the year out of the hospital and at home!
-Charlotte has been a steady weight gainer!
-She says some words and is a noisy girl!
-She has started to thrive in therapy!
-She has a mouth full of teeth!
-She LOVES her toys and even likes to explore them with those teeth.
-She’s had a few bites of food but I think 2026 will be our year to get her eating more.
-She’s looking more and more like a big girl!
-She’s another year down with no transplant rejection!
-She sits unassisted.
-She stands unassisted with her braces 2-3 seconds. She can stand assisted much longer!
-She’s defied odds like always!
-Plus so much more!!

We truly are so grateful for all this girl accomplished this year and can’t wait to see what all she accomplishes in 2026. She truly is the strongest little baby and the biggest ray of sunshine.

Big girl is thriving in therapy! This is a new piece of equipment we have been trialing and she has mastered walking backward with it. She taken a few steps forward so far and we are looking forward to getting her, her own one soon. She is getting so much stronger and has really been progressing so much. We are so proud of this girl!

We are so thankful for these girls! We had a great Thanksgiving and looking forward to the Christmas season. Charlotte is a such a blessing and making so much progress 🥰

Sisters just being sisters.

These moments are everything. From the moment Charlotte was born, Caroline has told anyone who would listen about her little sister. Through our long hospital stay, Caroline showed a strength and patience far beyond her years — standing by us through every heartbreak and every hopeful moment.

Now, seeing Charlotte sit up, play, and finally be the little sister Caroline has always dreamed of fills our hearts in ways words can’t describe. The way Charlotte’s face lights up the moment she sees her big sister… the giggles they share… it’s pure joy.

We are endlessly grateful — for the gift of Charlotte’s new heart, for the healing that’s brought us here, and for the bond between these two girls that grows stronger every single day. I can only imagine the adventures ahead and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow side by side. 💕

Big Sister, Caroline, had her kindergarten field trip to the zoo today! We had so much fun!! ❤️

We are so thankful for this girl! She has really taken off in speech therapy! She has started babbling SO MUCH and has plenty of new sounds. We have no doubt these sounds will transition to words soon! She has also done a couple two word phrases intentionally like “bubble, pop”. She is growing in strength in physical therapy as well. As far as occupational/developmental therapy, she LOVES her toys and interacts with people and toys so much now! We have made MAJOR progress and can’t wait to see how much more she makes in the coming weeks! 🤩👏🏼

Just soaking up all the smiles and bubble loving days with this girl! We have been doing great and just cruising along. We’ve had lots of follow up appointments lately and have gotten GREAT reports for them. We will continue doing therapies and hope she continues to thrive in them! Her biggest progress lately has been in her speech! She’s getting so much more talkative and really starting to be purposeful with her words and sounds. We are so thankful to have her here with us and see her continued progress 🥰

Life is so fun with these silly girls! No big updates just continuing all of the different therapies and slowly making progress. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to see this girl thrive 🥰❤️🫶🏼

We are starting off this Sunday in the BEST mood!

We are still working on standing and gaining confidence with that. We have added more therapies onto our schedule and hope this little strong girl can continue to make progress! We are so proud of her! 🤩

P.S. We finally have enough hair for a ponytail 🥳

Sweet girl is doing great! We are ready to cheer on the Mississippi State bulldogs! 🐶🔔

So sorry for such a long break in between posts! Charlotte got norovirus and had some difficult days with tummy issues but we were able to get over it without a hospital trip. She is much better now!!!👏🏼

Courtney (Charlotte’s mom) was in a wreck earlier this week and their only vehicle was totaled. Thankfully neither kid was in the car when it happened. Praise Jesus she is okay and we have been able to find them another reliable vehicle for all of Charlotte’s appointments.

Life may have it’s ups and downs but thankfully we have this girl to remind us that Jesus is always so good and listens to each prayer. 💕🥰
